Kpop rookie boyband 7.9.4.2 (read as “Chil-Gu-Sa-Ee”, in short “CGSE”) debuted only in April this year with a song “I’ll Be Famous”. The group consist of Hang Hoon, Eungjoo, Jo Hoon and Jonghyun, all aged between 22 and 24.

Leader Hang Hoon said, their debut track “I’ll Be Famous” had personal meanings to them; they would want to be acknowledged by their fans and become famous one day.

Still lesser known in the Kpop scene and in Singapore, they made a step out onto their first international stage here at the Boyz Nite Out Kpop Festival last Friday (15 June).

With so many younger Kpop groups debuting in the music industry, 7.9.4.2 told us at an exclusive interview that they felt much more prepared and knew how to express themselves readily, because of their age and life experiences.

Despite debuting with a ballad song, Jo Hoon revealed that the group is preparing for a dance album in August, and would want to show their multi-talents to the fans.
